Summertime

After having the 1st season with the orchestra here in Doha, we are now running the 2nd season with a lot of surprises coming up, as usual.

During the summer, I was having quite a good time for a few weeks.

Indeed, the very first "real" holiday since a decade.

As a very lucky asian drummer, I learned the european lifestyle with a mixture of mentality, and now putting myself directly in the middle-east for further experiences.

Walking around at the late midnight in a few countries lately, totally out of the view as a musician, the other kind of breathing, staring at the mountains in Virginia, the aquariums in Dubai...

Sharing ideas with friends, listening to extremely different stories......

tea & coffee, brilliant success, hectic in the city, acceptance of the reality.

One litre of tears, and a few titles..

are still accompanying me during the silent moments.

Idle..

for a few seconds... receiving surprising comments.

for a few minutes... sitting at a corner, inside the Kathedrale Notre Dame.

for a few hours... standing in front of 3000 species, including 180 sharks.

Human warmth..

my family, new and old friends.
